Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Digital Marketing who is a self-motivated business leader with great communication skills who will manage key new customer acquisition & segment programs and experiences. This role ensures efficient coordination of all non-customer digital marketing messaging strategy and initiatives.

 To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate proven skills in optimization of customer & website experiences across all screens/devices; managing internal and external relationships for results, operational business, and performance management approaches to the business; and demonstrate deep experience in running both short & long term projects and marketing campaigns across multiple business units. Strong communication and analytical thinking skills are also necessary to have the right level of impact and influence. 

 This person will develop and execute non-customer.com experiences (mobile & desktop), with the goal of generating new subscriptions to Cox’s core PSU services (video, voice, data, home-security) and revenue growth via sales leads for all residential sales channels (online, call center, and retail partner locations) from a variety of digital & traditional advertising programs.

 Additionally, the individual in this role will act as primary interface for go-to-market digital/online initiatives, and as liaison between multiple internal, external partner groups and the digital sales and marketing team. Internal partners include media team, customer acquisition team, subscriber team, field marketing team, social media team, and the brand team. External partners include agencies managing creative, strategy, placement, and results analysis.  The ideal person is creative, collaborative and consultative, and able to work well across a large organization to drive a growing percentage of the company’s total sales online. Strong communication, attention to detail, prioritization, and analytical thinking skills are also essential to be successful in this role. 

 Position Responsibilities:

Manage and support the guiding vision for maximizing new customer online demand generation.

Manage the day-to-day online operations relating to online acquisition programs, including boundary partner and legal review/approvals.

Manage offers specific to prospecting and optimize within online experiences, sales chat and targeted programs.

Create and analyze reports on market and site performance to ensure predetermined KPIs are being met, including optimal PSU growth and maximizing revenue generation and making decisions/optimizations on actionable data.

Researches and analyzes consumer behavior information to determine trends and identify opportunities for customer growth.

Collaborates with other departments to ensure program effectiveness and to identify areas of opportunity to drive added revenue exist.

Ensure best practices across all online acquisition marketing-related efforts and initiatives, and pushes the envelope to advance digital channels in a manner appropriate for Cox and the quality it demands for its customers.

Ensure 100% accuracy of content and adherence to brand and business objectives as well as to regulatory and privacy guidelines

May be specifically assigned to one or more product/strategy and responsible for the marketing activities directly related to the achievement of revenue goals for that effort (movers, students/back to school etc.)

Tracks marketing expenses against budget, and reports variances.

Partners with the marketing branding team to support digital programs driving Cox brand awareness.

Manages and creates cox.com user experiences and capabilities to drive non-customer goals/initiatives and improve visitor/prospect experiences

Provides key input to cox.com site design/customer flow to meet non-customer expectations and organizational goals

Monitor and provide QA for current customer cox.com experiences centric to programs and tactics

Reports to Sr. Manager Digital Acquisition, Digital Marketing & Sales

Qualifications:

Minimum

7+ years of related work experience (online, sales, marketing, etc.); 5+ years of experience if candidate possesses related advanced degree

2+ years of online sales and marketing experience focused on online campaign management and tactic creation, digital marketing, mobile marketing, social media marketing, online video, and other online centric mediums

Strong sales stimulation and campaign management skills

Strong sales/marketing relationship building skills

Excellent communication and people skills

Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance

 

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred

2+ years of experience in leading cross functional projects

Understanding of online marketing tactics and KPIs (paid search, digital display, remarketing, video pre-roll) across all device types (handheld mobile devices, tablets, desktop/laptop, iOS, SmarTV, etc)

Experience with website design and user experience flows for all device types, with emphasis on mobile

Experience with DMPs (data management platforms) to strategize campaigns and optimize media targeting and placement

Experience with digital dynamic creative solutions and toolsets

Graphic design skills (basic): ability to mock-up a visual to convey design request, ability to resize banners or create occasional site banners

Track record of driving increased results performance
