About the role

You will have the exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Marketing Team and be involved in all aspects of digital marketing, as such playing a key part in helping to generate vital funding for hospice care in local communities across Great Britain.

You will be expected to work in line with Local Hospice Lottery values, which are to be Supportive, Fair, Professional and Ambitious.

This role is based in Felsted, Essex and due to the remote location, having your own transport is essential, as is a flexible approach to the working hours required.

What will you be doing as our Digital Marketing Coordinator?

In-line with Local Hospice Lotterys Social Media and PR strategies, as Digital Marketing Coordinator you will plan, schedule, and analyse the organisations social media activity across a wide range of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram and make recommendations on how to maximise both reach and engagement. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and producing highly engaging content (including written, image and video) that is tailored to best suit the audience and the platform.

Coordinating the companys internal communications, alongside helping to develop email campaigns and e-surveys, will also form part of this role. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will also liaise with external marketing agencies and hospice contacts to maximise digital opportunities.

What makes you our ideal Digital Marketing Coordinator?

• Experience of recently working within a marketing team environment
• Experience of using social media in a business capacity and demonstrable experience of using Facebook Business Manager and scheduling tools
• Knowledgeable in the area of content production and able to produce effective briefs/story boards
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to create content that is both engaging and exciting
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to come across in a confident, professional and friendly manner are pre-requisites for the role
• High level of IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and experience of working to tight deadlines and managing priorities are also essential
• Your own transport is essential for this role
