Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

We're looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our team at Rare. This role will see you combine your digital, creative and technical skills to create and manage the flow of content across our digital touchpoints.

A technically minded person, you will be comfortable with a variety of content creation tools, have a working knowledge of web technologies and be able to juggle multiple projects at different stages of production, delivering content that is to spec, fully localised and within set timeframes. Working closely with our internal teams and external suppliers, you will pride yourself on developing a wide range of digital content that delights our players.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Digital Project Management: Work with our internal teams (Web, Game, Marketing, Social, Emporium, Services, UI) to manage content production flows and processes for our in-game campaigns, ranging from regular updates to exciting new feature sets.
  • Digital Content Management: Liaise with our internal teams to create assets (written and visual) that are best in class, while maintaining our commitment to the highest accessibility standards set out by Microsoft to deliver content that is highly engaging and informative.
  • Technical Content Creation: Generate assets in non-traditional authoring tools to map content points across game and web.
  • Localisation: Manage the content pipeline with our external suppliers to make sure content is delivered on time, in all languages and with full quality assurance.
  • Marketing Support: Support our Community team in the creation and delivery of assets to all our digital touchpoints on time and to spec.
  • Game Team Support: Aid in the creation of content that is surfaced in-game to our users, and manage the delivery of content in that channel on a weekly basis.
  • Digital Storefront Optimisation: Develop our digital storefronts to be best in class, working with the Release Management and Brand teams to ensure we provide an informative and polished experience to our customers.
  • Accessibility: Work with our internal Web team to make sure content is fully compliant with all our accessibility guidelines.
  • SEO: Work with our external partners and internal Web team to make sure our content is highly discoverable and optimised to perform to the highest position it can within search engines.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years in a digital marketing/web-related role.
  • Knowledge of HTML 5/CSS 3 web code.
  • Experience with content authoring tools.
  • Proven experience in owning projects from incubation to execution.
  • Familiarity with marketing and insight tools.
  • Best practice knowledge of SEO.

 

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS

  • Comfortable in creative spaces, willing to go outside the box to find solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong passion for videogames and gaming culture.
  • Able to react quickly and positively to change.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
