Job Description
We are looking for an eCommerce / retail search specialist to join our Digital Commerce Strategy team. If you have a passion for retail media and paid search and are able to share ideas and collaborate in a team setting, then this role is perfect for you.
With our agency partners, you will be responsible for the tactical and day-to-day management of our retail search campaigns on platforms across a range of capabilities. Your role will be integral to our mission to develop strong relationships with our customers by delivering search efficiency, sales and insights for our Customer Development, Omnishopper and Brand Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain agency relationship, prioritize work through flexible and customizable project management and oversee campaign execution and optimization
- Develop paid search campaigns to support product awareness, brand/category priorities and complement retailer-specific promotional strategies
- Collaborate in customer cross-functional meetings to help drive incremental growth through on-platform investment
- Leverage established measurement frameworks to evaluate relative media performance and recommend budget optimization across search tactics, retailers and categories
- Contribute to the development of standardized measurement frameworks as applicable
- Partner with agencies to develop search trend reports for content development and optimizations with the Hive Studio Hub and cross-share with Brand and D2C teams
- Support annual paid search budgeting and ongoing investment optimizations across retailer search platforms
- Provide inputs into roadmaps developed to advance Search capabilities - define strategy, measurement, frameworks and tools
- Contribute to workstreams identify key strategic partners that help accelerate automation/efficiency and work alongside procurement, IT and analytics to onboard as vendors and ingest data into proprietary systems
- Act as an internal specialist for the organization to help build up organizational competences, but also to help keep a pulse on trending topics/keywords to connect with shoppers and unveil potential opportunities
- Help lead virtual store checks to ensure our digital experience matches internal expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 7+ years prior experience in Search (traditional & retail)
- Minimum 2+ years eCommerce Search expertise (e.g. Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Kroger, Instacart, etc.)
- Experience with campaign management platforms (e.g. Skai, Pacvue, Commerce IQ, Stackline, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with ecommerce SEO and content optimization is a plus
- Understanding of how to demonstrate search to drive commercial growth
- Proven creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking skills
- Superior leadership and collaboration skills
- High level of initiative, assertiveness and self-direction
