Closely aligned to the Industry Solutions vision, CVE team is part of the Customer Transformation and Innovation team. This team is focused on solving business problems with technology and enables customers in their Digital Transformation journey

Responsibilities

The Customer Value Engineering team works with enterprise customers directly/ indirectly to maximize business value for their investments in Microsoft Technologies. The CVE Insights team (within the CVE practice) delivers business research (from our offshore center in Hyderabad/Bangalore) for our internal stakeholders to develop a point of view on relevant digital transformation trends for the customer to enable them to drive customer conversations around value of specific digital investments.

The CVE Insights Team is seeking Analysts with a sound grounding in strategic analysis with a strong business acumen as well as an understanding of digital technology . They will work closely with Digital Advisors, Industry Strategists and Account / Field Sales Teams globally to drive sales pursuits. Key responsibilities include business research to identify critical drivers and environmental factors affecting a Microsoft customer, and digital envisioning to develop scenarios for depicting  what “could be” the future state for the customer.

Qualifications

 

Business Research: Company Profile, Industry Analysis, , Financial Research  and Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Gap Assessment, Industry Benchmark and KPI Assessment.

The candidate should be able to connect business challenges and opportunities with technology solutions.

 

Primary skills:

  • Business Research Capabilities: Draw key insights from secondary research sources and articulate in a structured manner. Must have hands-on knowledge on research databases such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC etc.
  • Financial Research: Determine financial performance of a company by focusing on the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement etc. Must have good understanding of key financial metrics.
  • Presentation and Communication Skills: Produce executive-ready content on various research topics (e.g. industry landscape, technology indicators, business strategy etc.). Must be highly proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Scenario Analysis: Create compelling and innovative business scenarios applying cutting-edge solutions on customer problems. Must be capable of high-level technology and solution story boarding.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop Microsoft point-of-views on emerging business and technology trends. Must have broad understanding of industry verticals (Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, etc.) and technology areas (Cloud, Analytics, Mobile etc.)
  • Collaboration: Manage stake-holders in geographically dispersed virtual teams proactively. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Secondary skills:

  • Technology: Awareness/ understanding of latest Cloud and Digital technologies and trends
  • Industry Knowledge: Awareness on one of the Industry Domains is preferred.

The role is based primarily out of Hyderabad and Bangalore with no travel and requires extensive collaboration in virtual teams with consultants globally.

Experience: - 1-3 years 

Qualification: Engineering or any other Graduation, MBA / PGDBM
