What you’ll achieve
As an IT Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

• Responsible for developing and onboarding CI/CD blueprints, DevOps Automation Libraries, DevOps Images for automating Product delivery of Cloud Native / Database / Web Server based applications deployable onto Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) / Pivotal Container Services (PKS) / Kubernetes / Azure.

• Develop python based utilities to automate security tools into CICD pipelines.

• Support container-based CI/CD environment in Gitlab that will scale to support Dell IT’s evolution to Cloud Native Application Architecture Delivery.

• Integrate Testing frameworks and tools to automate testing into Product Delivery.

• Work closely with Product teams to evangelize DevOps culture, enable Automation for their applications and drive the culture of DevSecOps.

• Act as a liaison with stakeholders from Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architect and Application / Product teams working primarily within an Agile and Pivotal methodology.

• Research and develop best of breed technologies around automation across Cloud Native applications that leverage Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Serverless , SaaS etc.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in developing end to end CI/CD solution using popular Platforms like GitLab, Azure.

• Strong hands-on experience in developing python based utilities to automate security tools into CICD pipelines.

• Good scripting skills in popular languages e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash etc.

• Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Strong experience in Git based SCMs.

• Strong preference for a polyglot programmer who is comfortable in various development environment including Python/Java/.NET Core.

Desirable Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT Software Development.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience designing DevOps solutions leveraging Gitlab, Docker container and Kubernetes.

• Strong communication and presentation skills
