Development and Reliability Engineer - Loudwater - Permanent 

 

Reporting into the Lead Performance & Development Engineer this role will look at the development and capability and reliability of products whilst reducing the capital cost through, collaborating with Platform to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new propositions


A bit about us...

 

Our roastery in Basildon which is where this role is based, is one of the biggest roasteries in Europe and allows us to produce up to 45,000 tonnes of coffee a year. This is where all our coffee beans supplied to the UK and most of the world is roasted and packed, and we must say it’s a truly fantastic team and site to be part of.

 

A bit about the role…

 

Working with the Lead Performance & Development Engineer you will need to manage and maintain an action log, agreeing priorities and delivery dates with stakeholders. You will also be involved in Defining, launching, monitoring, and reporting on appropriate field trials to verify and validate new designs and changes to designs.   • Improving the reliability of all concessions through driving Continuous Improvement activities
  • Contributing to the development of existing concessions
  • Pro-actively suggesting opportunities for capital cost reduction and/or reductions in cost per cup
  • Fabricating prototypes to test concepts Following the Change Control process for implementation and embodiment of changes to build standard
