Who We Are Looking For:
Located in Hesston, Kansas, just a short 35 minutes from the Wichita, KS Metropolitan area.
The Desktop Services Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining End User computing environments used by AGCO employees and contractors.
This position is responsible for all aspects of incident managements including logging, analyzing, resolving, and follow up on hardware and software issues. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, copiers and phones) to ensure optimal workstation performance.
The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion.
What You Will Do:
Diagnose and quickly resolve all Windows applications and networking problems reported to help minimize downtime Install, Upgrade, Support and troubleshoot Windows 10, Apple MacBook, Microsoft Office 2013/O365 and any other AGCO approved desktop application.
Follow AGCO's approved processes and procedures for Asset Management (Hardware and Software) Educate end users on basic software, hardware and peripheral device operation Document all support related activities in AGCO’s approved Service Desk application. Mobile device support (smart phones and tablets) Provides site support and assistance to the Central IT Support Teams (Network, Storage, Telecom) as needed Troubleshoot and Support Audio and Video (A/V) technical issues in Conference Rooms, telephone equipment, including Video Conference equipment. Recommend suggestions, modifications, and additions to current standards for future modifications then communicate recommendations to Global Desktop Team. Other duties as assigned by Management.
This position will work as well supporting implementations and changes related to layouts, working with external companies to provide support in terms of cabling and as well internal AGCO team for the network side.
What You Will Bring:
Associate degree in related field 6-8 Years of experience in the field or related area. Any of the following technical certifications: Microsoft Windows or higher certifications (MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE) Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and particular within a particular field.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment short distances
