HIIT is an activewear brand with a bold and energetic personality. This is a great opportunity for a Designer with experience in Jersey and an interest in Activewear to lead the development of an exciting range for HIIT, across performance and non performance.

The Design Team look for inspiration around the world, along with street style, vintage shopping, music, art, the catwalk and all things creative, to design the latest product for the range. Collaborating with the Buyer to develop and evolve the HIIT brand DNA, ensuring cohesiveness across the whole brand.
Researching, developing, and designing performance and non performance fashion range. Focused on identifying key shapes for the season, fabric direction, print & graphics. Building a range that offers choice and variety for our many customer segments but within the HIIT brand handwriting.
Collaborating with the print and graphic teams to drive the most directional, fashion forward, first to market, on brand AOP’s and graphics across the HIIT brand.
Researching current and future trends from a collection of different sources in order to continuously improve, drive and develop the HIIT collection and brand accordingly.
Sourcing new fabrications, techniques and trimmings. This requires strong knowledge of technical sportswear fabric and fabric mills.
Working closely with in-house buying teams.
Working with the technical team on fits on a weekly basis. Identifying and helping create new silhouette blocks for the department.
Building relations with suppliers and advising factories on direction, silhouette, construction, key details, fabrics, trimmings and artworks. Development trips required.

Previous experience in designing trend-driven Jersey, Performance or Activewear product
Knowledge of performance fabrics
Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the ASOS Brand and Customer
Computer Skills: Photoshop, Adobe, CAD
An enthusiastic, team player attitude

Strong time management skills
Willingness to travel for supplier meetings, inspiration and development trips.
