You’re a tireless advocate for the customer—enthusiastic about building and iterating on designs to discover what works best and applying your knowledge to create incredible software products. You're passionate about your interests, and you want to work on projects that will change the world for the better.  You understand how to bring a flow together to solve difficult product and customer problems, fixing what's not quite right and smoothing the customer’s journey through the product. You to find ways to reduce the number of screens, remove the extraneous, drive users to the next screen or next step, and shorten the path to “Wow!” You’ll work in a focused team collaborating with fellow designers, content designers, interaction designers, visual and motion designers, qualitative researchers, data scientists, and producers. Bouncing ideas around, formulating plans, and charting the path forward is your jam as much as any solo design time.  You're fluent at communicating with product managers and developers as well as influencing your team and studio to simplify, integrate, and co-create successful customer experiences that work together. And you’re comfortable influencing others around how we all want the same thing, what that thing is, and why you think the team has landed a solution for our Industry Customers, Partners and End Users.

• Designing user experience solutions that work across devices with focus on consumer goods
• Partnering with developers, PMs and researchers to deliver high quality experiences from product strategy to conception and until launch.
• Enabling collaborators to do more through thought-leadership in AI infused user experiences and the ethical decisions they involve
• Defining and managing the appropriate design approach for creating differentiating AI infused experiences.
• Leading the early concept phase by organizing and running idea sessions, creating mood boards, storyboarding, brainstorming, creating user scenarios and developing concept sketches.
• Creating frameworks and model which enable others to understand key concepts and relationships as well as generate valuable input.
• Defining research question and methods to be used, as well as drawing actionable conclusions from findings.
• Effectively communicating and documenting research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design rationales both verbally and visually.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills

• MA in Interface Design, Visual Communication, HCI, Product Design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of work-related experience in user interface, interaction and user experience design required.
• Experience with shipping products
• A portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity in related fields.
• You have experience in building and shipping beautiful and intuitive applications.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and understanding of typography, color and layout principles.
• Great listening skills, with an open minded and team-oriented approach to design.
• Extraordinary communication skills – the ability to make complex ideas understandable, demonstrate passion and leadership, and strong presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• A strong interest in design and technology trends.
• Creating interactive prototypes.
• Portfolio review is required.
