Your responsibilities

• Design responsibility for constructions of mechanisms for space technology and terrestrial applications, as well as their test and assembly facilities
• Elaboration of solution proposals & comparative evaluations of possible variants
• Creation of conceptual designs in 3D (CATIA V5) incl. pre-dimensioning of critical components
• concretization / optimization of the design (technical / economical) 
• simplified FE-analyses for strength and stiffness optimization of components
• Execution of detailed designs in 3D CAD
• Preparation of technical documentation using CAD, SAP and PC, according to internal processes
• Communication and coordination with internal and external departments (German and English)
• Advising / supporting the departments responsible for fabrication, assembly and testing
• Preparation of contributions to quotations
• Independent work with flexible working hours in an international environment

Your profile

• technical education (HTL/ FH mechanical engineering)
• several years of professional experience in development as a mechanical design engineer
• experience in the design of mechanical systems
• very good knowledge in 3D CAD systems preferably CATIA V5
• very good profound and broad technical knowledge
• creativity and flexibility
• proactive and enthusiastic work in a project team
• structured, conscientious and careful way of working
• ability to work in a team, critical faculties, personal responsibility, quality awareness and ability to work under pressure
• communicative and organizational personality
• good German and good English skills
