Job Description and Qualifications

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES:

1. Responsible for compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and Corporate/Group requirements in Gasification and ASU. Support Region and plant EH&S goals. Ensure EH&S goals are established and achieved. Ensure all non-conformances are investigated and corrective actions are implemented in Gasification and ASU.. Achieve no lost time, recordable or first aid injuries by maintaining safe operating practices, completing safety training and demonstrating leadership in Gasification and ASU.
2. Achieve manufacturing excellence through effective cost management.
3. Foster and support strong working relationships with upstream and downstream.3 Ensure products from Gasification and ASU exceed or meet all product Quality Specifications and in accordance with ISO9001:2000 system requirements.

5.Responsible for the annual operating and capital budget for Gasification & ASU.
6. Accountable and responsible for implementation of Gasification and ASU Operation  Organization Development and HR plans.
7. Work closely with Operation Director with manufacturing excellence through effective cost management.
8. Attain maximum plant reliability through the scope and planning of maintenance activities.


REQUIREMENTS:

1.The position requires an individual with demonstrated leadership skills, communication & coordination skills, interpersonal skills.
2.Broad based technical abilities and a basic financial background. Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential to the position.
3.Credibility and respect across the organization is important.
4. A minimum of 12+ years in Coal to syngas project, engineering, commissioning, startup, maintenance and operations management roles are desired. Shell related working experience is preferred.
5.A minimum of college degree with Engineering or Chemical background is required.
6.Fluent oral English and excellent written English skill is required.
