Coordinate with Human Resources to manage the hourly workforce in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and in line with Plant Rules.
Mentor and coach direct reports both salary and hourly to achieve their fullest potential
Lead performance management activities across all operational units to ensure consistency of evaluation.
Remain always connected to the shop floor and willing to make difficult situations visible to the organization to ensure they are properly addressed, and to ensure actions are put in place to avoid recurrence.

Meet productivity targets while reducing waste in all its forms
Drive down manufacturing expenses through implementation of innovative cost saving ideas
Lead the implementation of the Ingredion Performance System (IPS) and use it to drive business results
Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools and relevant corrective actions to eliminate failures
Utilize Six-Sigma tools to eliminate variance
Drive continuous improvement in utilities, including energy consumption and waste disposal
Identify best practices in industry to bring innovative improvements to the department
Qualified candidates will have:
4-year degree minimum
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role
Experience leading a Union workforce highly regarded
Food industry experience highly regarded
Packaging experience highly regarded
Six-Sigma green belt training and experience highly regarded
Strong leadership traits, with demonstrated success
Excellent computer skills
