Position Description

Join us and you'll become part of a dedicated stock management team, in a positive work environment which encourages continuous improvement to support our fast-paced restaurant business. If you've visited one of our restaurants before, you’ve probably got some idea of how vast our inventory systems are and that they are vital to ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience in its entirety.

As franchised restaurant it is operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over half of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference.

As a franchise we offer premium rates for those staff who are eligible to work between midnight and 6am, this means for the hours worked between these times you will be paid an additional £2 an hour on top of you hourly rate.

Position Requirements

• Carry out restaurant daily stock management, receiving, processing of deliveries.
• Continuously control and ensure appropriate stock levels at all items
• Maintain accurate inventory records including required adjustments
• Provide daily / weekly / monthly inventory reports to management
• Action and report all stock issues: variances or nonconformity
• Look for consistent processes improvement to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure Food Safety, Health & Safety prcedures are always maintained and adhered
• Ensure stock areas are well maintained, to the highest hygiene standards
• Effective communication skills with both team members and management.
• Candidates must be numerically confidant to be able accurately complete associated documentation.

Position Attributes

To join us you'll need to be confident in dealing with external contractors as well as the restaurant team. You'll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards including time keeping. The ability to maintain high energy levels with a can-do attitude whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart and clean. Candidates must be over 18 years of age.
