The Role
Last year we were ranked as Canada's 15th fastest growing company and we are seeking a Delivery Lead with a passion for agile development and building great teams to help us continue that growth. Your primary responsibilities are to lead your teams, maintain positive relationships with your clients, and ensure that project work is carried out efficiently and professionally.
At FreshWorks, our Delivery Leads play the role of Scrum Master while fulfilling a variety of other project lead roles. Depending on the day (or hour), your role may be an Account Manager, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or a Technical Lead. Whatever hat you wear, relationship building is core to all that you do
You are an advocate for Agile best-practices and double as a Scrum Master to direct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retros. You know the Agile Manifesto like the back of your hand but are flexible and can adjust processes to fit the needs of each project, as well as your team or client. You are comfortable managing budgets, timelines, project scope, and client expectations.
You play a key role in formulating the technology road map, and can identify and propose technical solutions and ideas with your background in software development, whether educational or through hands-on coding. You're a triple threat in the tech world; you are deeply technical, and can easily write formally (for documentation) or casually (for client check-ins). You shine when commanding the attention of a room during Scrum meetings or client presentations.
'Poise and Patience' are your middle names as you vouch for your project teams while balancing clients' expectations. You understand the nuances that come with a growing team and are comfortable with acting in multiple roles and going with the flow. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain cool as a cucumber no matter the task at hand. Some specifics about this role:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
