If you've visited one of our restaurants before, youve probably got some idea of what's involved in maintaining a restaurant. But you might not realise the variety and scope of the role. Specific responsibilities will include maintaining outside landscaping, painting and varnishing, maintaining parking facilities and completion of non-electrical small equipment repairs.

A franchised restaurant is a restaurant operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over 80% of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference.

Position Requirements

We are looking to recruit for our delivery and maintenance team. This role would involve working Mon 2am -10am, Thurs 5am - 12noon & Sat 3am - 11am on our scheduled delivery days. We offer a premium rate of +£2 between the hours of midnight and 6am.

As a member of our delivery team, it will be your responsibility to prepare the restaurant for receiving deliveries before they arrive by cleaning and tidying and also preparing items to be sent away. You will then work with another crew member to transfer products from the delivery van into the restaurant and ensure these items are correctly stacked and rotated in our chiller, freezer and stockroom areas.

Position Attributes

To join us you'll need to be confident in dealing with external contractors as well as the restaurant team. You'll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as cleanliness. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart and clean.
