The Challenge:
The Data & Analytics Services team collaborates with our data platform and data engineering teams, global and regional business units/hubs across the company, our franchise bottling partners, and 3rd party data providers to understand and organize the breadth and scope of enterprise analytic scenarios into effectively managed and delivered data products that deliver unquestionably reliable data and analytics.
What you will do:
Make business data intuitive, reliable, and easy to use as part of a team of experts whose mission is to collect, connect, collaborate, and deliver data for our business customers. Bring clarity, context, and meaning to diverse, complex, and evolving datasets fundamental to the operational and strategic success of the Coca-Cola Company. Collaborate with business and technology partners to strategize, crystalize, and build prioritized roadmaps for diverse, ambiguous, and evolving analytic products, driven by a data mindset — data architecture, data models, and data flows. Design and specify the integration architecture and high-performance, flexible data models to serve a diverse collection of analytic use-cases.
Specifically, you will:
Help establish and evolve our agile data architecture discipline and practices
Foster a diverse technical product management environment that is empathetic to all stakeholders and inclusive in both our interactions and products
Lead and facilitate business process modeling sessions to develop processes and workflows.
Develop product roadmaps and specifications that inform engineering teams on the most important problems to be solved
Identify and recommend patterns for data management and data models
Partner with internal business customers to better understand their problems and work together to deliver needed solutions
Partner with other data product leaders to create cohesive strategies and roadmaps across organizational boundaries
Optimize and standardize the business processes and workflows to deliver data products at scale
Partner with our data governance team to systematize data quality processes
Engage deeply with external communities to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
What we are looking for:
You speak business with a technology accent
At least five years of experience with architectural oversight of enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid big data warehouses/lakes, analytic and business intelligence solutions
Be fluent in data management technology, cloud platforms, data warehousing, data modeling
Data modeling for conceptual, logical, dimensional, analytic consumption; schema design
Data visualization tools, PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy
Relational, NoSQL databases and datastores; SQL, e.g. Redshift, Snowflake, Athena, Presto, SQL DW (Synapse)
Data management and integration, data flows, and ETL tools/languages
General awareness of Data Governance and Stewardship processes
Scripting, e.g. Python, PowerShell, JavaScript
An agile product delivery mindset – Agile, SCRUM, etc.
Curious, collaborative; you think deeply and independently with the big picture in mind
Pragmatic in prioritizing what must be done well today, deferring what can wait until tomorrow
You welcome complexity and ambiguity and relish organizing and simplifying to get big things done with the minimum of fuss
