 We invite applications for the Data Scientist position based at our Piscataway, NJ location. This role will be part of the Digital Data, Measurement and Analytics team, modernizing systems and supporting Data and Analytics initiatives for the Global Digital organization. You will work in a highly upbeat and collaborative team environment among Data integrators, Data Architects, Data Engineers and Data Visualization Engineers. You will be responsible for providing new insights through the use of advanced statistical analysis, data mining and data visualization techniques, working with data generated by marketing technology, activating customer data and powering the customer experience in marketing channels.

 What you will do

• Analyzes data and applies or develops models, algorithms, and/or simulations to solve complex business problems

• Performs statistical analysis to establish causal relationships between drivers and outcomes

• Develops and manages models, workflows, and/or code in support of their specific project work

• Accountable for models and their code quality and documentation

• Responsible for implementing data science best practice in their work

• Leverages cloud computing resources and technology

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Data Science or Statistics

• At least 3 years professional work experience in machine learning and modeling and/or data science

• Has a strong understanding of statistics and statistical modeling

• Has a working understanding of modern machine learning

• Has strong programming skills in Python

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience using Big data technology stack
