Passion for contributing to the fight against vector-borne diseases and unwavering integrity are essential.This is a global role providing data support across the business Working closely with various stakeholders ranging from research to commercial operations such as data team, field teams, marketing, production, quality, manufacturing and R& D etc. you will generateand deliver decision-facilitating tools to key internal and external stakeholders. You will be expert in managing high stakeholder demand, competing priorities, project management and delivering fast results supporting the use of data in reporting, decision-making and operations.With a primary focus on initiating field pilots globally and commercial operation in Brazil, this is an exciting role in a fast-paced environment, working on high-impact projects with outstanding professionals around the world.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and delivery of business intelligence capabilities across the business Work with various stakeholders from product development, field teams to commercial to enable data accessibility, organization, fast analysis and reporting dashboards. Mange competing demands from stakeholders across various product workstreams to enable decisions Manage and guide the data team members to deliver high quality results with quick turnaround time Planning and project management of large volume of data deliverables across all workstreams Regular alignment with the field and commercial programme leads to ensure data deliverables are aligned to the programme outcomes Representation from the data teams on programme meetings, scan horizon for developing work packages and build data team deliverables pipeline Presentation of data outputs in business wide 

programme meetings in a cohesive and insightful approach Implement best practices within the data team including time management, requirement gathering, Agile methodology and accountability Implement growth plans for data team to build their talent with skills development, product knowledge and improvement opportunities This position will also support the expansion of Oxitec’s data platform Ability to provide hands on support in data analysis, dashboards and automation where neededRequirementsKey Qualifications and SkillsA pro-active communicator, reaching out to ensure alignment with all stakeholdersStrong presentation skills with ability to translate technical language to business terms is crucial.Advanced project management, planning and delivery skills with ability to manage high demandStrong stakeholder managementHighly organized, able to deliver routinely against tight deadlines Strong communication skills and fluency in English are essentialIntermediate to advanced understanding of geospatial, statistical and data modelling principles Intermediate to advanced understanding of data analysis tools such ArcGIS, Power BI, Python/R etc. An interest in public health and/or agriculture Degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience in a relevant disciplineExperience of working with biological research data (e.G insects) would be an advantageExperience working with field research design desirable Experience working with vendors or external partners on technical issuesBehaviours Required A strong team mentality yet confident working independently with limited direction A can-do attitude to problem-solving Flexibility and resilience in a constantly changing environment Highly organized, able to deliver routinely against tight deadlines Commitment to and passion for the Oxitec missionResponsive to the needs of an international business working across different time zones, adapting working patterns in-line with business requirements.Positive, co-operative and professional, always
