Job Purpose and Impact

The Data and Analytics Business Analyst will be part of the data and analytics team and help drive the transformation towards a data-driven organization. Our aim is to empower the business to unlock value from data assets, uplift analytical capabilities and support data-driven decision making across the organization. As a Data and Analytics Business Analyst, you will work closely with business teams to help explore how data and analytics solutions can address business needs. Together with business and technical stakeholders at the group, functional and regional level you will co-create and deliver data and analytics solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with businesses and product teams to translate business problems and opportunities into data and analytics requirements and solutions.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business, data and technology stakeholders and document requirements.
• Analyze and interpret requirements and prioritize them in alignment with the data and analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Drive cross functional and global/regional data and analytics initiatives.
• Partner collaboratively with business, data, and IT teams to explore and deliver data in new and useful ways that enables data-driven decision making.
• Help drive the adoption of new data and analytics solutions within our businesses and coach users to assess, analyze and access data via various data and analytics tools.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Business acumen and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with business counterparts
• Experience in translating business requirements into data solutions
• Experience with data analytics tools and applications
• Experience in extracting data from databases and other applicationssuch as cloud based Data Lake
• Experience inwriting SQL queries
• Minimum of four years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI to develop dashboards.
• Experience in data engineering, data modeling and data science.
• Experience working with KNIME or Alteryx
