We are looking to hire a Data Analyst who will take responsibility for managing our data sets, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. You will help to refine and maintain our data model by understanding stakeholders' needs. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
How you will make an impact:
- Collecting, organising, and interpreting data.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data.
- Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
- Contribute to the Data model health analysis and recommend improvements.
- Helping develop reports and analysis.
- Contribute to management and design of the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Supporting the data lake in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
- Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalisation.
- Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment reports.
- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
- Understand and analyze clients (internal and external) needs and usage of our data sets.
We are looking for people who:
- BSc/MSc in Information management, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 1+ years of experience in building Analytics applications using Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
- Good understanding of database technologies including RDBMS, DW/DL, Cloud, NoSQL.
- Excellent SQL query skills plus experience developing SQL scripts and stored procedures that processes data from databases
- Experience developing ETL, ELT and Data Warehousing solutions
- Hands on experience developing applications using Python
- Strong understanding of various data formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
- Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously. 
- Must be skilled in speaking and reading in English, being able to speak French as well would be a desirable benefit.
- Strong presentation skills, as well as a business-building mindset, would be key advantages.
