Job Description

Capita are looking for a Data Analyst based in West Malling. Capita is one of the market leaders in providing the public and private sectors with a complete network solution. Capita provide this by creating, implementing and managing secure, cost‐effective and high‐capacity broadband networks. The Data Analyst will be a part of the Capacity and Reporting Team, within the Service Operations Team, supporting the Transport for London Account.

The Data Analyst role is focused upon Data Analytics as defined by ITIL and the efficient and effective delivery of these processes. Being part of a wider Reporting and Data Analytics team, you will be able to work in a collaborative environment and cross migrate key skills.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • performing data analytics with a focus of network infrastructure

  • interpreting data to provide MI (Management Information)

  • identifying and collecting data sources

  • analysing and extracting key data and information

  • evaluating and monitoring data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience with Data Analytics

  • Advanced level experience and knowledge of MS Excel

  • Experience with at least one of the following: SQL or MS Access or Power Query/Power BI

  • Experience with network infrastructure and technical knowledge of IT Networks would be desirable, but not required

  • Eligibility for Security Clearance
