The Network Planning team within the Last Mile Delivery organization designs the outbound transportation network through lane planning, capacity management, and forecasting. As a fast-growing network, you will have the opportunity to build initiatives and frameworks on which to grow the business and influence the future state of the network. To do this, you will manage complex data, analyze existing and future opportunities to optimize the network, and work with operations and cross-functional partners to drive improvements to the system.

Supply Chain or eCommerce domain knowledge

Collaborative analytics and project management to improve business operations.

Data processing and data quality validation to ensure the best possible data inputs are driving systemic solutions, and experience in SQL and Tableau.

Experience in cross-functional and ambiguous situations

You’ll make an impact through the following job functions:

Network Planning – Design and influence the outbound transportation network through lane planning, carrier capacity management, and forecasting.

Advanced Analytics: In-depth investigation of key drivers of transportation dynamic optimization and data quality. Work with large, complex, disparate datasets and conduct analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions. Develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges.

Partnership and Collaboration: Engage with team members and cross-functional teams on a regular basis. Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to create customer-focused solutions. 

Modeling: Develop and improve upon our models for continuous improvement of transportation management and network design.  Execute on exploratory and scenario analysis to shape future changes and product improvements.

Product engagement:  Collaborate with product teams to create roadmaps to build out the future state of the network, prioritizing initiatives and influencing cross-functional decisions.

Data Processing: Leverage data analysis tools to explore and process complex data.  Develop and test hypotheses, uses data to influence strategic work, builds and presents insights.

About You

You understand transportation or supply chain, whether in Retail ecommerce environment or similar industries

You are a problem solver and creative thinker: you think about finding the best solution that will work in days, instead of the perfect one that requires weeks.

You learn and adapt quickly, and are excellent at working on multiple cross-functional projects concurrently

You have excellent general modeling and data processing skills.

You are customer-centric in spirit and in execution.

You work well with ambiguity
