Cycle Count Supervisor- Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level position.
 
Maintaining accurate physical inventory by continually validating accuracy of inventory through the process of cycle counting.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Takes the leadership role for all aspects of the cycle counting department, including:
    • Scheduling of all cycle counts and counters at appropriate work sites.
    • Interfaces closely with Production and Shipping/Receiving/Storage supervision and operators to conduct root cause analysis and corrective action on inventory accuracy errors.
    • Contacts appropriate parties when problems/issues occur in a timely manner.
    • Develops and communicates (throughout the company) department appropriate metrics and notifies management of metrics status’ and corrective action plans for those that are below target.
    • Promotes safety, sanitation and organization on a daily basis.
  • Supervises all cycle counting personnel and other assigned reports.  Hires, trains and develops reports to meet ADM customer service objectives.  Utilizes departmental training checklists and matrix.  Understands and ensures adherence to all ADM policies and departmental procedures by reports.  Takes appropriate actions to correct deviations.  Writes annual performance reviews of all reports.
  • Responsible for all inventory accuracy-related communications inside and outside of the company (in partnership with Accounting where appropriate).
  • Writes and monitors all ISO 9001 cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes and conducts appropriate auditing and training
  • Validating & sign off of daily counts
  • Managing offsite inventory (COMAN locations)
  • Takes the leadership role on inventory levels in house including working with Customer Service, Purchasing and other departments to ensure proper levels are kept on hand and executing plan to ship material off sight when needed.
  • Takes the leadership role on disposition of warehouse R, excess inventory etc to be processed and disposed of timely
  • Handling offline issues/customer return process
  • Reporting KPI’s
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required

 

WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, degree in a related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in Inventory Management,
  • Proven Leadership, Communication skills and Problem solving skills. 
  • Computer skills (data base and PC base) and Math skills.
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Self-motivated commitment to continuous improvement.

 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing, lifting (up to 50 #’s), walking and reaching.
