Job Description
The Cycle Count Analyst provides a variety of support services in accordance with standard procedures to the Finance function. Analysts will perform clerical and coordination duties specifically aligned to one or more focus areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
- Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process. Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility. Contribute and participate in team decision-making. Provide support in project work and other special requests.
- Perform system generated cycle counts on raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods on a daily basis.
- Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches if necessary to locate misclassified inventory.
- Open cartons, bundles, and other containers if necessary to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on-hand.
- Enter required inventory adjustments into Oracle system with proper coding for reporting purposes.
- Report damaged/aged products to supervision.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them.
- Ensure all cycle counts satisfy all Internal, External and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements.
- Partner with Operations to achieve inventory accuracy goals.
- Assist the production floor with ad hoc cycle count requests as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years previous experience required.
- Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.
- Skilled in anticipating and troubleshooting problems.
- Good interpersonal, written, oral, and proofreading skills.
- Good organizational and customer service skills.
- Mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and logical problem solving skills necessary.
- Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills required.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google, Oracle and function specific software.
- Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner
