Cybersecurity consultant

The Role

Enterprise Cybersecurity provides worldwide cybersecurity protection, technology, and support to all businesses under the Fidelity Investments umbrella. The Cybersecurity Consultant is a member of the Information Security Office Agile Team and provides basic to deep technical and analytical support to move and promote our practice to a best-in-class information security organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years information security, risk, or related technology subject area or 2+ years Fidelity business unit experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of cyber risk management principles, how it affects the business and able to apply appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Basic to intermediate ability to develop, handle, and to use information to provide insight and assist with strategic decision making
  • Good communication, influencing and presentation skills, including engaging audiences at various levels, as well as an ability to deliver concise presentations to senior management.
  • Collaboration and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and drive process improvement opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills and able to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize your work appropriately
  • Have or willing to acquire proficiency in knowledge of Fidelity Investments’ Cyber Security Policies.
  • Understanding of Fidelity’s overall purpose, our supported business and technology organizations, and ECS to be able to appropriately convey products and services to the business and product direction back to ECS.
  • Energy and passion to help implement the organizational vision in a constantly evolving environment.
     

The Team

The Information Security Office (ISO) Agile Team is the mutual point of contact between Enterprise Cybersecurity and Fidelity’s business units. The Cyber Security Consultant will play a key role in supporting the wider ISO team, ensuring we continue to develop by:

  • Working actively within the ISO team, setting the tone and meeting with ISO peers and leaders to prioritize their cybersecurity work.
  • Providing the ECS product teams with feedback from the Business to help modify our capabilities to successfully fit into the BU organization.
  • Being a motivator for consumption by enabling the business to consume ECS products.
