Ideally you will be an experienced security consultant looking to take the step up and help to drive further growth into one of the most successful areas within Trustmarque. You love a challenge, will be both technically and business focussed and would love the opportunity to become a security evangelist who drives opportunities though into delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will work with several verticalized sales teams within Trustmarque and Capita to help uncover opportunities and engage key customers in a broad range of security technologies and services. You will be helping drive the security number forward, working closely with the Head of Sales for Security and will be key to driving the success of the security practice.
- You will join the Trustmarque Security team involved in presales consultancy, focussing on adding technical expertise, ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical and agile standards.
- We expect our consultants to understand the client’s project aims and to offer professional and commercial insight to ensure client satisfaction in addition to technical detail.
- We always expect our consultants to be very self-sufficient when engaged in smaller assignments representing the company by themselves, always ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality work and outstanding client care.
- You will act as the subject matter expert in Cyber Security for customers and sales teams. Strong experience in a multi-disciplined team is critical as is your ability to clearly communicate complex technology solutions.
- You will be responsible for defining designs, tasks, scope and effort from customer engagements by way of proposals, presentations and work scopes.
- You will be responsible for the production of technical presales and post sales documents and other technical project related artefacts.
- You will be involved in the qualification and bid process for new opportunities providing relevant technical input into the process.
What we’re looking for:
Technical:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in IT Security including and at least 2 years’ working within a broad multi-vendor sales environment.
- Experience in performing security workshops, demos and presentations to a C Level audience
Projects:
- Demonstrable experience in architecting large-scale security migration projects/programmes.
- Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi-system problems.
- Extensive experience in architecting enterprise security solutions
- Be comfortable with being responsible for the delivery of significant security projects.
Desired Certifications:
- The security practise is broad and carry a wide range of security accreditations and are interested in accreditations with an appropriately wide selection of security vendors for example, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Forcepoint, Sophos or service providers.
Other Requirements:
- Be willing to work in multiple locations and prepared to travel up to 50%
- Have experience of stakeholder management within complex organisations and comfortable presenting to CSO and the security leadership team.
- Be a fast learner, ambitions, and comfortable working in high-pressure environments.
- Exhibit a proven track record of continually looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction.
- Consultative approach. You will be client facing and will need to be able to convey complex themes and ideas in clear and concise language.
- Assist and lead in the pre-sales / bid process for opportunities.
