About the Role 

• The Security Engineering Team supports the security tools used by Security Operations in maintaining security of the business. These include Security Incident & Event Management systems, end user protective tools and perimeter protection tools.
• As Operations Manager you will be accountable for maintaining and developing the operational processes used to support the effective operation of all Security Services provided by the team.
• This will include managing resource scheduling, onboarding and offboarding for contractors and staff, liaising with contract suppliers, administration of team SharePoint and any related collaboration and supporting systems.
• You will play a key role in our plans for the evolution of the team to ensure that our capability can meet and exceed the future demands expected in this area with the potential to include a B2B commercial offering of security services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain operational processes required to ensure systems required to support the teams’ services are available as required and forecasting of technical and commercial resource requirements are presented to support strategic planning.
• Liaising with contract resource providers to ensure a continued supply of contract resource to meet the demand of projects security requirements.
• Manage the scheduling of resources used in the provision of project funded security requirements.
• Manage the production of team based operational and project reporting to support team KPIs and SLAs.
• Administration of tools used in support of the team’s functions. This includes SharePoint and other collaboration and planning tools.
• Develop new business processes as required to support the continued evolution of the team and Security Operations Function.

• Demonstrable experience in the creation & development of business processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels - experience managing teams or managing resources

• Capacity to work well with technical resources, demonstrating an ability to understand the concepts and technology involved.
