About the Role
Lockheed Martin UK are expanding our Cyber Electronic Warfare teams and seeking enthusiastic specialist engineers to support the investigation of RF signals of interest and producing software that will detect and counter RF threats.
Lockheed Martin UK Rotary Mission Systems Department is a leading prime contractor and systems integrator responsible for a wide portfolio of high technology programmes, complex integration, training and through-life support, spanning the defence and civil sectors. The LMUK IS business is a leading provider of systems engineering, software development and complex programme management for global security, cyber, civil and commercial markets.
The Cyber Electronics Warfare Engineer will be responsible for:
Analysis of requirements for the development of software to detect, decode and counter RF threats
Design and development of tooling to aid detection and decoding of signals of interest
Supporting design and development of complete mission systems
Supporting integration activities
Required skills, qualifications and experience
Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following:
Embedded software engineering using C++ / VHDL
SDR Application development using OpenCPI
Vulnerability research using Wireshark, Metasploit etc
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
Knowledge and experience of the following would be beneficial:
Git
CI/CD automation
Docker / Kubernetes
Development on AWS
Development on Linux
RF systems
Digital Signal Processing
