A Cyber Defense Operations Manager is responsible for developing and managing techniques, tools and processes to continuously monitor external and internal cyber threats and adapt to them on an ongoing basis to enhance the company's security posture. For this role, the focus will be on Application Vulnerability Management for OT systems, the PS Owned and Managed systems supporting our supply chain equipment and systems that are enrolled in the PS ESLT Enhanced Vulnerability Protection Service.

Activities include

- Developing the PS OT Application Vulnerability Management Service and assuring the service meets mandated service levels

- Assisting in Emergency Patch Incident Response when an Emergency Patch is required

- Collaborating with the OT threat assessment leaders to determine severity and recommended actions against OT vulnerabilities

- Investigating vulnerabilities in our OT environment and determining the appropriate action to remediate

- Identifying vulnerable systems needing specific interventions

Qualifications

Technical Mastery:  Technical knowledge and experience across diverse environments and

organizations will be an advantage.Primary targeted mastery areas include PS OT platforms, systems and applications, Information Security, and plant ITOT operations.Mastery will need to be applied to quickly penetrate technology areas, ask appropriate and relevant technical questions to aid in scoping the OT Application Vulnerability risk and resolution plans, and close targeted risks in a timely fashion. Specific technical mastery areas desired includes:

OT Applications within manufacturing.OT Platform, application experience with major OT vendors (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.), including platform and application version management.

IT and OT Networking and Security.IT Network Operations, OT network architectures and security controls including Firewalls.Knowledge and understanding of Business Owned systemsabove and below the ICS firewall, and OT security controls and impact on risk.

Manufacturing Systems Hardware: Experience with the Operating Technologies hardware supporting our manufacturing environment, including PCs, PLCs, OT networking and local applications.

Plant Digital Systems: Experience with the integrated plant ITOT systems and GBS delivered plant services.Management of the local IT systems supporting core plant processes (i.e. proficy).

IT or OT Application Vulnerability Assessment or Threat Analysis:When a vulnerability is identified, the candidate will be expected to provide context to the actual risk based on the vulnerability and threat landscape to provide the appropriate level of urgency to mitigate the risk.Understanding of the application vulnerability in the context of its place in the architecture and compensating controls will be key.

IT or OT Application and OS patching: Familiarity with system patching requirements, principles, tools and expectations.Understanding of patch system capabilities to deliver patching to all Business Owned systems.

Leadership:  Candidate must demonstrate a history of capable leadership for the areas he/she previously managed.

Stewardship: Candidate should have sufficient stewardship experience to understand the P&G Policy environment and how organizations assure compliance with relevant P&G policies.A key component to this role will be collaborating with the PS ES Compliance team to assure OT Application Vulnerability Management Policies and Standards deliver the expected InfoSec risk reduction needed for the OT environment, and that the OT environment can effectively and efficiently address targeted Application Risks

Vendor Management:  Candidate should have vendor management experience. In this role, you will develop and maintain constructive working relationships with Third Party partners who provide our patch management delivery.As the Application Vulnerability Management service is developed, patch delivery scope will be developed and integrated within the current program. A key component of the role will be to work with the partner on contract compliance and SLA performance to ensure P&G is receiving the agreed service scope and delivery
