Team Overview:
Security GTM Practice is dedicated to driving the Security portfolio through the operating companies to the SoHo, SME and Enterprise markets in order to achieve the dramatic growth aspirations in the security market. As part of the Vodafone Security GTM Practice, the Cyber Advisory Services team interface with a wide range of global stakeholders across Vodafone Group and Operating Companies, delivering cyber security support and guidance to our customers.
Role purpose:
With a consultative and customer-focused design mindset, with experience presenting and communicating with all levels of technical and business audiences you will work on a variety of key customer accounts of multiple sizes and within various industries.
You will act as a Cyber Advisor with an architectural specialism, providing security Subject Matter Expertise at various levels (best practice through to bespoke), including managing our customers’ information and cybersecurity requirements, offering technical insight and design, and ensuring that security is a facilitator that supports our customers’ projects.
The Cyber Advisory Services Authority role is the primary Vodafone point of contact for security for customers and will ensure the successful delivery of Vodafone’s security services, as per the Master Service Agreement.
With us you will:
- Primary point of contact for all customer security matters relating to Vodafone, e.g. Security SME advice, reporting, maintaining contractual security obligations, participate in customer security forums, security risk assessment, manage major change etc
- End-to-end solution design leadership or support on complex integration projects spanning Application Enablement Platforms as well as security / connectivity platforms
- Engage with and challenge stakeholders, collaborating with other roles (business analysts, engineers, other solution architects, developers, test teams) to shape, formalise, and deliver solution requirements
- Design and create standards that can be applied across multiple security solutions / platforms
You will have:
- CCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent (or willing to achieve one or more) OR Industry experience within a Security team
- Must be capable of achieving enhanced Security Clearance within Country of employment
- Understanding of security solutions and security frameworks e.g. ISO / OT
- Experience working in solution / enterprise architecture or design, for virtualised or cloud-oriented architectures
- Knowledge of firewalls, modelling languages and tools
- Experience in E2E integration from and to security platforms
- Demonstrable technical security depth of knowledge in a variety of technical areas, e.g. DDoS, firewalls, PAM, SIEM etc.
- Desirable:
- Understanding of inventory management and logistics models
- Experience developing complex applications, devices and applications space
- Understanding of Application Enablement Platforms and integration for firewalls
- Fluency in a second language
