Responsibilities

 

  • Lead customer engagements and model desired capabilities/behaviors that can scale across the organization
  • Engage directly with C-level LOB and IT stakeholders within top-tiered customers to learn and understand the business outcomes the customer is trying to drive; then synthesize this into the primary areas we should explore envisioning and ideation
  • Responsible for executing Microsoft’s Business Value Selling process, which includes workshop prep, envisioning planning, strategy for scenario validation, and narrative for business case
  • Orchestrate capabilities across CT during engagements such as UX/UI, data science, SW/HW engineering, value engineering, etc. with senior customer executives and/or partners
  • Define with key stakeholders the right execution and progression path post envisioning, including but not limited to, business value assessment and business casing, market and organizational assessments, technical assessments, solutioning and deal crafting to accelerate realization of customer outcomes and value
  • Capture field learnings and experiences to apply back to CT strategy, value propositions, methodologies, tools, practices, and engagement patterns
  • Drive learnings and content from these high touch executive briefings and envisioning workshops to inform our customer-centered strategy and industry perspective

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Proven experience working in top-tier management consulting or consulting design firms
  • Experience  engaging with senior executive-level customers through a consultative/value/experience design-led pre-sales motion.  
  • Experience in future studies, ethnographic studies or qualitative/quantitative research, product, business or industrial design, design thinking methods, rapid prototyping, facilitation and participant energy management, storytelling, persona development, journey map and service blueprints
  • Business Design and/or Design Thinking credentials and experience is a must
  • Experience building and leading programs that require cross-org collaboration, multi-discipline teams, and support from senior leadership
  • Must have experience interfacing with and coaching senior executives

  • Positivity, impact, and outcome focus, a “Can Do” attitude and creative problem solving are must haves
  • Build strong relationships and influence senior leadership, within Microsoft and customer organizations
  • A proven ability to understand the CEO’s agenda with curiosity and empathy for customer challenges and a passion for resolving them
  • Collaborate across teams and organizations to drive an aligned vision and common goal.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills; ability to facilitate conversations and present ideas to senior audiences
