Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for our Customer Service Team based at Hart District Council working Monday to Friday 08.30 hours until 17.00 hours. This is an exciting time to join Capita and the successful candidate will become part of a thriving business unit. We are looking for the right candidate who will provide excellent customer service to the residents of Hart.

    You will be required to work as part of a team ensuring that all customers are provided with a first class, professional, understanding service and to assist with/answer any queries. The role will be based at Hart District Council. However, there will be times when there is a requirement to travel and work at Havant Borough Council

    Job Description:

    The key aspects of the role are:

    • To provide efficient and effective customer service to all customers who are contacting Customer Services by a personal visit to reception and customer by e-mail, in writing or by telephone
    • To conduct customer appointments regarding complex customer enquiries, particularly for Revenues and Benefits
    • To ensure that records, computer systems and information are updated and maintained accurately
    • To work towards meeting performance targets and quality assurance requirements for the Customer Services Team
    • We are looking for someone who enjoys talking to a variety of people with a passion for customer service.

    Previous experience within a Customer Service environment is desirable, however full training will be provided.
