Customer Service / Casualty Claims– Hybrid working  - Maxim Business park

Salary:

  • For 40 hours - £22,500 - £26,800 depending on experience

  • For 37.5 hours - £21,100 - £25,100 depending on experience

  • For 35 hours - £19,700 - £23,500 depending on experience

As a Claims Advisor within our market leading Casualty Claims division, you will settle insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. You'll relish getting to the bottom of things. Only through meticulously checking facts and asking questions will you be able to weigh up information and make accurate decisions about the claim.

You will talk and listen calmly to our customers, brokers and claimant solicitors, knowing just the right questions to ask to obtain relevant information to assist you in processing the claim. You'll enjoy taking personal responsibility for your own workload, continually reorganising and prioritising to ensure our customers get the best service possible.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A to C (Grades 4 – 9 from 2017) with two of those being in Maths and English.

  • Excellent communication both written and oral together with questioning skills

  • Able to deliver superb customer service

  • No previous claims or insurance experience is required as full training will be provided.

  • Quick learner who's not afraid of a challenge

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications):

  • For 40 hours per week £22,500 - £26,800,

  • For 37.5 hours per week £21,100 - £25,100, and

  • For 35 hours per week £19,700 - £23,500

  • Part time working patterns and flexible working options can also be considered
