Customer Success: Microsoft aspires to help our customers achieve their own digital transformation, leveraging the power of Microsoft Cloud solutions and support offerings. To this end, Microsoft invests in a dedicated Customer Success team that will help Microsoft customers successfully realize their business outcomes.
 
Customer Engineers (CEs) are deep technical advisors supporting Enterprise customers to deliver unique value by removing blockers to consumption within their given Solution Area. CEs provide technical support including risk assessments and tuning to operate and optimize a customer’s cloud or on-premise environment. The Customer Engineer provides support delivery services as well as technical readiness through a Customer’s Support contract via dispatch by the account team. Customer Engineer services can be delivered either remotely or on-premises.

Responsibilities

As a Power Platform Customer Engineer you will be making impact with your customers through support management, support execution (Deliver Results through Teamwork & Optimizing Business Results) and through Leadership and growing the business.  

  • You will be the specialist for Microsoft’s Power Platform for low/no-code apps, and workflow automation within your account teams.
  • You will be the subject matter expert on your local team for PowerApps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agent.
  • You will help customers make technical decisions to build tomorrow’s business and IT solutions based on Microsoft technology.
  • You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, proofs of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Power Platform products and services, and how we can make their businesses more successful.
  • You will lead to clear technical, competitive and security blockers to accelerate Power Platform customer usage.
  • Sharing practical knowledge with partners to drive the deployment and adoption of Power Platform solutions.
  • You will be recognized for sharing, learning and driving individual work that all result in business impact for customers, partners and within Microsoft. We encourage thought leadership and leadership from every employee.       

Qualifications

  • Be comfortable talking to and working with other developers and business stakeholders, building relationships and credibility.
  • The confidence to deliver your technical and business know-how to developers looking to learn from Microsoft.
  • Managing your own time and workload
  • Extensive Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agent development experience
  • Understanding of Development Methodologies, DevOps & SecOps
  • A sound knowledge of the Open Source ecosystem

At least one of the following Microsoft Certifications is required:

  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert PL-600
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer PL-400
  • Microsoft Power Platform App Maker PL-100

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, but will consider related field (or equivalent) experience.

Experience of working with Secure customers. SC level holders or eligible candidates are preferred
