Position Description:
Identify opportunities internally and with our customers to optimize the demand/supply chain design for cost savings and sales growth.
Drive value creation through expansion of cost to serve model, development of economic order quantity model, customer data and information technology with key customers.
Strengthen partnerships (internal and external) by collaborating on key commercial initiatives and sharing relevant customer direction and information critical CP teams for win-win solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsibility for reducing Total Cost to Serve with key customers. Lead cost/benefit analysis on customer supply chain initiatives as well as a gap analysis of CP capabilities vs customer needs – both strategic and tactical.
Lead CTeams in providing business analysis of the supply/demand chain to identify opportunities that optimize the demand chain for cost and responsiveness.
Manages cross-functional work teams efforts including VMI practices and processes to eliminate root causes of customer supply chain inefficiency.
Leverage customer supply chain data and scorecard information to deliver supply chain strategies that drive process and technological change.
Implement best practice at Customer to optimizing supply chain activities including distribution/handling recommendations, customer/CP ship point optimization, product flow, and order profile.
Drive Business Planning and Demand Planning efforts through CPFR managers and VMI manager
Provide knowledge of best practices and CP Customer Service and Logistics capabilities. Interface with industry experts and share best practices through trade associations and local networking activities
Establish relationships at multiple levels within the customer organization and industry associations. Drive benchmarking and best practice sharing across peer and customer groups.
Requirements:
7+ years minimum of Customer Service / Logistics / Supply Chain/Sales experience with a strong understanding of Customer Operations
Proven experience in establishing relationships at senior levels with customers and working with cross-functional selling teams
Functional / Technical knowledge of Supply Chain is critical.
