Job Description
- This position coordinates the movement and completion of Post sale inspections of the two major auctions in the Atlanta market .
- Using the as400 and post sale tracker and completion tools .
- Communicate needs to operations and inspecting departments
- Position reports to mechanic shop 7205 Cambellton road.
- Become proficient in all platforms, systems, and tools used to maintain client records, transactions, documentation, and relevant data
- Maintain appropriate documentation of conversations in designated system to ensure handoff continuity and client profile accuracy
- Manage high volume of tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Identify client needs, research issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Build sustainable relationships and engage clients by providing best-in-class service
- Meet and/or exceed established production guidelines and key performance criteria
- Provide excellent client service and advocacy
- Work across the organization as needed to resolve client request
Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 4 years of customer service experience or the equivalent
- Auction, automotive sales, logistics/transportation knowledge a strong plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly in a phone or email context
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a changing environment,
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, high energy, dynamic and demanding environment
- Demonstrated experience being a customer-focused, service-oriented professional
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Automotive knowledge preferred.
- 3+ years Auction experience or dealership experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Must be detail orientated.
- Experience in navigating handheld and other documentation devices preferred.
- Motivated to work independently
- Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction is required.
- Body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge helpful.
- Familiarity with unibody and full-frame helpful.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Exposure to moderate noise level, may be exposed to fumes and odors.
- Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
- Ability to engage customers in a consultative manner.
- Solid computer skills, including ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively.
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required.
