Job Description
Purpose
- A trained Florist with ownership of creating Flower bouquets for instore customers and for delivery.
- Able to engage customers with key knowledge on product, seasonality and provenance; as well as providing ideas and inspiration.
- A clear understanding and ownership of quality is essential.
Key accountabilities and measures
- Support customers on building unique bouquets from a selection on components
- Advise customers how to look after, handle and store the products at home
- Ensure component stock accuracy is maintained to maximise availability/choice
- Maintain a neat and tidy working area which is welcoming for customers
- Engage core Flower customers on the option of bespoke bouquets
- Ask customers for feedback on their purchases, encourage future discussion/purchase
- Liase with key stakeholders in the Support Centre inc. Buyers and Technical Team
- No responsibility for delivering core store routines – all about THE CUSTOMER!
Key skills
- Florist training is essential to the role
- Previous experience in customer facing role(s) is preferred
- Previous experience on till payment systems is preferred but not essential
Key relationships and stakeholders
- Reporting directly into the Food DSM in their home store
- Regular engagement with the Support Centre, primarily with the Flowers & Plants Category
- Customer relationship building as repeat purchases are expected
