As a Custodial Water Tank/Trash Truck Cast Member you will be focused on creating magic for our Guests during their Walt Disney World Resort stay by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and Guest Service. Custodial Water Tank/Trash Truck Cast Members will operate a commercial water or trash truck across Walt Disney World Property. The Custodial Water Tank/Trash Truck Cast Member will also use heavy duty industrial cleaning tools such as pressure washer, leaf blowers, sweeper trucks and rider vacuums. The Custodial Water Tank/Trash Truck Cast Member will remove debris from waterways, clean fountains, clean high reach windows, pressure wash surfaces and clean hazardous spills across property.

The pay rate for this positions is $16.05

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial water tank or trash truck across Walt Disney World Resort Property
• Cast Members will handle heavy duty industrial cleaning chemicals and supplies using specialized equipment
• Pressure wash concrete and other surfaces
• Clean hazardous spills
• Prolonged standing in outdoor settings during different weather conditions
• Operate a SmartPhone device to access assignments and submit work orders
• Maintain safety while operating vehicles
• Use a radio for Communication
• Take ownership during emergencies situations
• Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
• Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
• Have or obtain a valid FL CDL Class B license with air brakes and tanker endorsements
• Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulation
• Ability to stand for long periods of time or walking long distances
• Willing to work at various heights
• Comfortable driving at night under conditions with limited visibility
• Knowledge of routes & roadways to destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort®, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs
• Ability to walk up and down stairs repetitively and walk on uneven terrain
• Good communication skills
• Part Time roles require full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
• Full Time roles require Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
