Job Description

Custodial Operations Manager is responsible for providing customer satisfaction while ensuring delivery of contracted services to our client.

Essential Duties

  • Providing customer satisfaction and delivering the contracted services to our client is the primary goal and an essential job function.
  • Plans and organizes work routines, stacking plan, and schedules for all supervisor and cleaning personnel.
  • Assumes the responsibilities of the Project Manager when needed.
  • Manages tag labor, assigns tag work to appropriate personnel. Checking work for quality assurance.
  • Assists in Safety programs follow-through by Branch Safety Coordinators to ensure compliance with all safety policies.
  • Schedules start-ups and is responsible for the training of the supervisors and employees.
  • Reviews daily labor for project. Assumes responsibility for properly educating supervisors on all procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for training new supervisors and project personnel on labor coding.
  • Assumes responsibility for supervisor vacation and holiday replacement coverage.
  • Assists Project Manager in equipment audits and purchasing.
  • Accompany Inspectors on Audit reviews.
  • Participate in monthly review meetings with client.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer oriented environment. 
  • Experience in cost estimating/pricing work. 
  • Have a working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures. 
  • Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
