Job Description

We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

What you’ll be doing:

As a developer you will have primary responsibility of creating and making applications within our close knit, cross functional team - building large scale, reliable and secure systems inside OutSystems/MSN/Mendix and connecting to external data sources/APIs.

Examples of current projects cross a variety of industries including Central Government, Local Government, MOD, Utilities and general experience services.

–          PWA development

–          Front end development

–          App development

–          Intranets

–          Custom coding

The Creative Developer, having both the design perspective of interfaces and the coding skills of low-code applications, can work on the UX/UI side of projects and develop applications within a stack of technologies.

  • Ownership of knowledge around industry standard low code/RAD platforms, especially Outsystems, MSN & Mendix
  • Working with the wider business to understand business requirements
  • Working within a cross-functional team using agile methodology
  • Rapid application development and continuous delivery

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • 2+ years OutSystems / Mendix Developer experience
  • UX/UI and/or Visual design skills
  • Strong experience in developing web and mobile applications
  • Recognised full stack development expertise in UI, database, and webservice integration
  • Full lifecycle - DevOps experience
  • Track record of creating and delivering solutions in line with business objectives
  • Experience being accountable for performance, maintenance, and development throughout the product life cycle.
  • Lived a UK resident for 3 years or over (or comfortable in applying for SC clearance)

Advantageous:

  • Any OutSystems /Mendix certification is a plus
  • BPSS / SC clearance is a plus
  • Able to design and/or implement front end UX/UI
  • Track record of Software Development in an Agile Environment
  • Gain genuine enjoyment from seeing projects through, from start to finish
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity, in an agile environment, when the requirements are forever evolving
  • Able to work independently, interact positively and communicate appropriately with team members and customers, especially remotely
  • Pro-active and well organised, taking responsibility for personal development
  • Happy to learn new tools and platforms towards creating innovative solutions
