BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Cruiser Lamination Crew Leader is responsible for the daily work activities of a small group of employees within an area of expertise. Position will utilize expertise in the area to fulfill a production schedule in addition to training and troubleshooting issues within the crew.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for completion of 40+ -hour work schedule weekly.
- Oversight of daily work activities of assigned crew to ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery requirements are achieved, including ensuring production schedules are met and monitoring breaks and lunchtimes.
- Coordinate work within the area, including responding to daily attendance by making team substitutions to ensure goals are achieved.
- Ensure housekeeping and 5S+ activities are completed by the team daily.
- Responsible for product movement in conjunction with Supervisor and Group Leader.
- Completion of out of phase defect work.
- Assist with specialized training of crew and new team members in conjunction with Group Leader.
- Demonstrate a culture of communication, collaboration, inclusion, and recognition while treating everyone with dignity and respect.
- Crew responsibility will consist of ~8 to 12 employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Specific area expertise required.
- Ability to communicate effectively to ensure training initiatives are meet.
- Ability to work as an effective team player.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
- Must possess the desire to work safety at all times and report all hazards to the Supervisor or Group Leader immediately.
- Physical requirements may vary and may include, but not limited to, lifting, standing, stooping, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs and be able to pass spirometer test to wear a respirator.
