Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Credit Management of various customers as determined by the Manager

  • All customer communications to be accurately recorded in accounting software

  • All invoice queries to be recorded in accounting software and escalated to the business units for resolution

  • Hold conference calls with internal stakeholders to discuss any issues relating to collections

  • Work to specific individual and team KPI’s and objectives

  • Send reports on debtors to various stakeholders including Divisional Finance Directors

  • Escalate any legal cases to solicitors in line with Credit Policy

  • Visits to clients and/or business units when necessary

  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and unallocated cash balances to ensure ledgers are accurate

  • Perform credit checking where required

  • Assist with bulk dunning processes when required

  • Any other Credit Control related duties required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within a busy credit control department and will understand the qualities to makes a successful team.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to build effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues and are organised and proactive in their approach to their role.

  • Possess a confident, positive attitude and a can-do approach to this important role.

  • Computer literate with good EXCEL skills, preferably to Intermediate Level. SAP experience is desirable.

  • Able to adopt a flexible approach. The areas of responsibility may change over time as the team establish a presence in line with newly formed target operating model. The expectation is the ledgers will be molded to compliment the offshore credit control team in order to maximise cash collections.
