Description and Requirements
The primary responsibility of the Country Director is to effectively develop and manage operations for the BMC office in Mexico City that properly represents BMC\'s solutions to our customers resulting in revenue attainment and customer satisfaction
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must know the business and the marketplace -Develop and implement a strategy based on customer set, team\'s skill set, competition, and BMC\'s business value to achieve desired revenue objectives.
- Coach and develop the team members
- Manage business effectively and predictably
- Provide accurate and dependable revenue projections
- Effectively communicate and set performance expectations to the team and hold them accountable for their performance.
- Properly communicate and manage the overall business expectations with the team.
- Provide feedback on customer issues, market trends, and business challenges.
- Effectively interact with other organizations at BMC Products and Services/Client
Responsibilities
- Take an active role in developing relationships with department leaders and executive-level customers
- Provide consolidated feedback to the Business Units on client needs and marketplace conditions
- Understand and be able to articulate our Business Service Management message
- Engage in all major transactions ensuring the value is optimized and knowledge is transferred
- Ensure customer satisfaction remains high and develop reference able client Interactions
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION:
- Effectively communicate with management, peers, and the team
- Effectively communicate BMC\'s business value to internal and external clients
- Aid in the development and communication of best practices to the team
- Effectively communicate to the team a vision aligned with the organization\'s mission, strategy, and direction.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT / LEAD RESPONSIBILITY
- Act as coach and mentor to develop strong and mature sales representatives
- Create an environment of enthusiasm, accountability, and performance for your team
- Lead by example with the highest integrity and ethics
- Lead your team effectively through change that occurs outside of your control
- Trustworthy, adaptable, level headed, and ethical
EDUCATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 15 years of sales experience with an additional 5 years at BMC or 5 years in country leadership role.Â
- Excellent organizational, analytic, financial skills, and business acumen
- Experience selling software related products and services
- Experience brokering relationships and selling through partners
