Job Description

Job duties of the line server will include, but are not limited to: hand casing, removing trash from the area and performing general upkeep, rework of rejected meals, filling case packer magazine, filling glue pots, rethreading tape, drive sky lift, able to operator sit down fork lift, able to assemble and disassemble totes, blending and open cases to dump into totes and spike the totes of ingredients as needed.   Person will scan product within SAP transactions and WIP tracking sheets.   You will be required to work in a room at 30 degrees Fahrenheit.   Job will require wearing appropriate PPE, including freezer suits, hard hats, ear protection, eye protection, steel toe shoes, etc.  The ability to read and follow directions is a requirement.  Person may lift repetitively up to 50lbs.  Other duties include but are not limited to:  Preparing and maintaining of applicable documentation, assisting with all that is required to keep the area safe, maintaining a sanitary work area, maintaining an active sense of urgency to keep production going and other duties as assigned specific to the Cortina Packing area.  Person will be required to participate in all meetings and venues to drive operational capability. Sanitation for the area which involves assembles and disassembles of equipment and forklift certification will be required. Rotation will be a requirement.
