Job Summary:

Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for company-wide operating and capital planning, quarterly and annual earnings and cash flow forecasting, annual operating plans and five-year plans, review of all major capital projects, monitoring of segment/business unit operating performance, direct finance support of corporate departments and various special projects. The group is also charged with developing presentations to corporate senior management and the Board of Directors regarding company financial performance. In addition, FP&A works closely with our Investor Relations and Public Relations Departments with respect to our ongoing investor and financial communications.

Specifically, the Analyst will partner with their leaders to perform financial planning and analysis activities across Corporate, including coordinating with the other Corporate FP&A teams. In this role the Analyst will participate in the completion of monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, annual 5-year plan, and the COC commentary for management reporting for Corporate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform overall Financial Planning and Analysis activities for Enterprise Technology clients
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan (AOP) and annual 5-year plan, and present to Technology leaders through formal PowerPoint deck presentation
  • Oversee and assist with quarterly financial close process between Technology partners and Accounting
  • Prepare Cause of Change (COC) analysis as part of all financial planning cycles for Technology partners, Accounting, and FP&A Consolidation
  • Report out monthly actuals activity from SAP compared to budget/forecast
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis or modeling for new initiatives/projects
  • Become a valued finance partner for the Technology team and build professional and ethical relationships across all teams
  • Interact and communicate with all levels of management and be an integral team player
  • Partner with CFP&A team members to identify potential improvements and efficiency opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be inquisitive and solve problems creatively
  • Ideal candidates will have excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills, a proven ability to build relationships, and strong business and financial acumen
  • Candidates must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of management and be an integral team player
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical as the SFA will often face shifting priorities on multiple assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in the media and entertainment industry is a plus, but is not required
  • Technology Finance experience a plus
  • Financial Systems and or Service Costing/Invoicing Tools preferred – SAP, Cognos, Adaptive Planning, ComSci

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
