Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company has an opening for a Financial Analyst position within our Global Information Security (GIS) Finance team. This team is a highly visible department dedicated to providing high‐quality financial information and services to our technology business partners within Global Information Security.

The team provides analytical decision support to evaluate technology investments and strategic initiatives with a view toward supporting the overall goals of the Studio Entertainment segment of the Walt Disney Company. This team will also play a critical role in providing financial perspective to our partners within our newly centralized Global Information Security organization, supporting the group’s goal of preparing The Walt Disney Company to respond to emerging cybersecurity risks. In addition, the team improves processes, facilitates cross‐ department planning and implements tools/processes to empower Studio Technology and Global Information Security resources. This department will promote innovation and growth by developing our employees and maximizing technology while maintaining a challenging, rewarding, creative and fun environment.

Reporting to a Manager, this position will play a vital role in financial planning, including assisting in creating and analyzing Global Information Security Financials, ultimately enabling this team to provide key stakeholders with the tools necessary to support decision making and various aspects of information security related investment evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the GIS teams to develop the budget and forecasts
• Assist in preparation of various monthly/quarterly/annual reports
• Optimization of budgeting and planning tools (SAP, Cognos, Adaptive Planning, Excel, and others)
• Actively support in the Quarter Close Processes (Allocations in & out of GIS)
• Assist in compilation and review of internal and external headcount and labor reconciliation
• Assist in creation of ad-hoc financial models/reports in Excel and other Financial Tools
• Complete segment and corporate requests: monthly, quarterly and ad hoc
• Work with accounting to ensure proper allocation to other TWDC business units
• Work with Global InfoSec partners in supporting the Project Authorization Request process (PARs), including assistance in the preparation of NPV/Cash flow analysis
• Partner with Global Information Security Project Management Office
• Assist in Financial and cost control process improvements
• Continue to develop and adjust processes for data capture, reporting and variance analysis

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience required
• Advanced Excel skills; macros and spreadsheet experience; advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions
• Embraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performance

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP, Cognos Adaptive planning experience a plus

Required Education

• Education – B.S. (emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred)
