What you’ll achieve

As a Dell Blue Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for concepting, writing and collaborating on a team that develops campaigns that span out-of-home, social, digital and video that have won Addy’s, Webby’s and more. You'll craft compelling copy that is tailored to fit a wide range of channels, from site content, print, and social channels. You're a true storyteller who can think like an ad person, but write like a real person. As a Copywriter you'll manage multiple projects, working closely with internal teams playing a role in everything from early ideation to final output - collaborating with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Designers to consistently deliver polished, award-worthy work.

You will:

  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, creative supervisors and integrated team to create engaging and memorable concept-driven campaigns aimed at prospects, customers and influencers

  • Take the lead in creating compelling content and inventive solutions for integrated campaigns and projects that uphold the brand

  • Research, explore, and communicate best practices in copywriting and discern which competitive ideas are most effective

  • Write, shape, reference, and edit marketing content for multiple audiences of consumers and audiences

  • Conduct writing activities, including user needs and business objectives, creating content/message briefs, social media campaigns, print, digital, experiential and scripts

  • Juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and still uphold a high attention to detail and follow-through

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years of agency experience (either advertising or interactive) is required

  • Must submit an online portfolio demonstrating ability to develop concept drive work for consideration

  • Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand style guidelines

  • Work collaboratively with cross-discipline teams of various levels of seniority

  • Exceptional writing skills, attention to detail and follow-through

  • Experience writing for social media and video
