Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Controls Preferred)
Skill/Experience
- 3 - 5 years Factory Controls & IT experience
- Possess or is able to obtain Operational Electrical Qualification Certificate (must be able to work independently on live electrical panels)
- Experience in selecting and installation of process instrumentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Server Administration Expert
- Virtual Infrastructure Administration knowledge
- Cisco Equipment Architecture knowledge
- Database Administration knowledge
- SQL & VBA Knowledge
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Controls Preferred)
- 10 - 15 years Factory Controls & IT experience
- MBA, Major in Project Management
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of Factory Control & IT related Services
- Establish and Monitor KPI’s related to Factory Controls & IT infrastructure, Services and Solutions to include Performance, Availability and Functionality Metrics
- Participate in Regional and Global Factory Controls & IT Infrastructure related Projects
- Ensure Operations on factory premises for Factory Controls & IT Systems (Automation levels 1 to 3)
- Act as technical resource to site on controls related issues including troubleshooting, analysis and recommending practical corrective actions for control related problems
- Identify opportunities and recommend changes to improve plant performance
- Manage the system management and administrative functions for PC and PLC networks, data historians, software version control and web based data display systems. This includes maintenance, enhancements, procedures development, and troubleshooting.
Business Engagement and Communication
- Expert in Factory Controls & IT, demonstrating clear understanding of the problems and opportunities for business change
- Constant communication with shift based production and maintenance teams to understand any breakdown or reliability issues
- Lead, manage and engage the site Controls team to bring a unified strategy and effort to maintain, optimize and improve factory Controls systems
