About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Project Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. 

Working within our Facilities Department, you will manage a multitude of facilities upgrade and fit out projects. You will work directly with the project team to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the high standards.

We are looking for a creative and collaborative individual who will fit into the high paced nature of the facilities project’s environment. The job requires the planning, implementation, management and completion of internal fit out projects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, arrange and manage facilities upgrade and re-configuration projects from an established design brief to completion and handover of project.

Creation of project specific procurement specifications from the design briefs

Control of contractors via the LMUK health and safety procedures prior to and throughout the installation process

Engage and communicate project intent and timelines to internal stakeholders

Work closely with other internal departments to fulfil the design brief

Fulfil project requirements on time and on budget

Collate all necessary operating and maintenance documentation to support the wider facilities team

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Knowledge of internal building construction techniques

Understanding of 2D C.A.D packages such as AutoCAD

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft office suite  

Understanding of Project management techniques

Knowledge and understanding of building regulations

IOSH Managing safety or NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety at work as a minimu
